Kathryn Singey
Kathryn is a founding member of Word By Word Journeys and currently leads poetry writing exercises at Poetry Expansion Labs and Poetry Circles along with spearheading the program for educators. She is passionate about the Writer's Workshop model and a strong advocate for the use of poetry in the classroom.

Kathryn Singey, MA in Education, is a language arts teacher and a meditation instructor. She currently teaches reading at Casey Middle School in Boulder, CO. After participating in Summer Writer’s Workshops for four years and teaching reading, writing, oral presentation, and appreciation in her reading classes for the past 11 years, she decided to take her love of poetry on-the-road and share it with others.
